Long time no post

Yes it has been a horribly long time since we posted a picture. Gus washes his hands of any responsibility, although we may try to blame him. He is rather averse to sitting still. He is growing fast and furious. He is working 2 molars and 4 eye teeth at once, so we'll just say sometimes he gets a little feverish and impatient. He is a ton of fun and a real joy to watch as we are starting to see his mind working:

It was 28 degrees celsius in Milwaukee yesterday and we walked to the park to give Augustus his first experience on a swing. In the end, there were no useable images of him actually swinging. He was not happy...white knuckle terror!

When it's warm enough to enjoy the out-of-doors in late November, in Wisconsin, you take it and walk with it. Our Sunday stroll with Augustus was much appreciated and because the Green Bay Packers were playing the Minnesota Vikings at the time, we had the streets all to ourselves! Well, almost...the other boys in blue were navigating the streets too. The rookie cops who drew the short end of the stick no doubt!

9 a.m. Pre-Church. Life is good!

1 p.m. Post-Church. Broken shell of a 4 month old.

Three hours of Church meetings can take its toll on the sanest of human beings. Collectively, we believe our family is no exception. The only difference is that while the adults grin and bear it, baby Augustus wears it, on his oxford onesie sleeve. Poor Gussie!

When it comes to Gus, a little face time, with himself, goes a long way. Who can blame him? He never tires of his own jokes and stories, everyone is a winner in the staring contest and those Vanilla Ice dance moves never lose their ninja RAP!

It's Tryout!

We needed to test Augustus' tolerance of uncomfortable accessories and apparel as his first Hallowe'en draws near. Overall, we feel he played the role of shy and depressed, tennis player-teddy bear with maturity and grace and he showed no signs of fear in front of the camera. This bodes well for what is in store this October 31st!
